The first Kungsbacka Chamber Music Festival was
originally conceived
by Malin Broman, violinist of the Kungsbacka Piano Trio, as an
opportunity to invite to her home town musicians of international repute to join with the
Trio in a weekend of music-making. The Festival was held in 2001
and such was its success that it has continued every year since.
The concerts take place at venues in and around the
Swedish town of Kungsbacka and these include the impressive Tjolöholm
Castle and the charming church in the Castle grounds.
